Allow me to introduce the Greeting Cards Quilling Kit from My Creative Camp. Company owners Zahra and Tasneem share a passion for creative artistry and each has an entrepreneurial spirit. They worked hard to create a kit that will inspire not only children, but also adults who love a secure starting place that provides both written and video instructions, and premium supplies right at their fingertips.
The duo's first kit, Beginner's Quilling Kit was released in 2021. The prior year, I had noticed Zahra's fine work via Instagram and featured her in the Artist Spotlight. Zahra's art interests are quite diverse, as you will see via that post. Not only is she an exceptional quilling artist who creates sophisticated designs, but I was impressed when she taught herself to make metallic watercolor paints and not only sells the paints through her Etsy shop, ZahraAmmarArt, but also uses them to create stunning geometric designs that are also offered.
After our Beginner's Quilling Kit was released, we received amazing
feedback from our customers. They loved the ease of learning a new
craft with thoughtfully curated supplies, clear instructions, and how-to
videos. We knew quilling
is perfect for making cards, but noticed there was no product with
premium materials, full instructions, and video tutorials, so we set
out to create such a kit. And so the
Greeting Cards Quilling Kit was born!
The
cards and gift tags are made of high quality shimmer cardstock.
Colorful custom-made envelopes have cute stickers to indicate
the cards are handmade. Also included are shiny Aurora Borealis gemstones and
felt twine for hanging the gift tags.
The kit booklet is written in both
English and
Spanish, and even though there are fourteen projects in the
instructions, many more are available on our YouTube channel.
Each project has been created by either Zahra or Tasneem, both artists
and creators, and we thoroughly test each design to make it
accessible, yet aesthetic.
Whether you are already a proficient quiller or a complete beginner, the kit is designed to spark your creativity and help you create
stunning designs with ease. We recommend it for ages 8+.
