Quilled Honeysuckle Tutorial by Sena Runa
I loved honeysuckle season as a child... there was just something so tantalizing about plucking a blossom from the vine, pinching its base, pulling out the long filament and tasting the teeny drop of nectar that would appear like magic. Sena Runa has captured the beauty of a delicate honeysuckle flower as an on-edge quilled design. It is included along with nineteen additional project tutorials in her newest book, Quilling Flowers.
She writes in the introduction that as "June’s birth flower, honeysuckle conveys messages of sweetness and affection. It is believed that the honeysuckle can bring both good luck and good fortune to your home." It sounds like the perfect housewarming gift!
Thank you to Sena's publisher, GMC Publications, for providing this complete project to All Things Paper readers. If you are brand new to quilling, refer to my previous post that introduces the book and includes tool images and basic quilling instructions.
Sena Runa's three books are Quilling Art, Quilling: 20 Beautiful Designs, and this new one, Quilling Flowers.
