You might have noticed the fruit print fashion trend that's going strong this summer, but - news flash! - fruit is also very popular in the world of paper party goods. I've rounded up lots of examples to help make upcoming shindigs a success.... maybe even as BIG as these wonderful 3D paper models.
Plan the Setting
Why are fruit images so well-loved? Because bright colors are just plain fun... they conjure up thoughts of juicy goodness and great times. Personally speaking, they have me reminiscing about shiny yellow packages of Juicy Fruit gum and frozen treats on a stick.
I'm a fan of watermelon and this double-sided garland with hand illustrated
slices is a cool one. Berry-colored beads add pizzazz.
If you're a DIYer, you'll enjoy printing and assembling this fruit slice banner.
Invite the Guests
Your guests will have a berry good time if you set the tone with an enticing invitation.
Ever thought of having a seed spitting contest? This might be the right occasion!
'Pop on over'... ha, pretty clever!
Bright watercolor illustrations look fresh and summery.
Decorate the Table
Hang these tissue paper strawberries and pineapples and/or place them as table centerpieces.
Fill shiny berry boxes with candy and tiny toys.
These zesty pinata favor boxes would be great as photo props too.
Another favor idea... how about these adorb note pads? I featured them years ago... at the time they were newly invented and not widely available, but now they're on Etsy where they are a very reasonable price.
You'll find delish party plates in all sizes and shapes.
Even scallops! You'll need cups and napkins too.
Little party-goers might agree to wear fruity hats and these cuties are printable.
If you can't imagine a party without cupcakes, these wrappers are pretty sweet
.
Wrap the Presents
Fresh fruit wrap always pleases and tying up a present with satin ribbon or baker's twine makes it even more special.
This yellow paper looks refreshing... cool as a pool on a breezy summer day. And it's even a quick digital download.
Wrap up something summery in this paper that would work for either kids or adults.
Same goes for fruitful washi tape.
Aren't these tapes so pretty? I had my first local peach of the season for breakfast this morning and it was perfection.
Attach a little gift card.
The Finishing Touch
And when the party is over, you might want to send fruit-themed thank yous...
Peaches, lemons, limes, oranges, kiwis, watermelons, pineapples, and cherries and berries... I can't imagine life without them. I hope you've enjoyed this round up of fruitful ideas and may your party be a smashing success!
Wow these are great...going tp share with my daughter-in -law, she did a one in a melon theme last year for my granddaughter..maybe she'll want to continue the fruit theme !!!
