Delightful Projects in Folded Book Art
Congratulations to Janine.rudnick and @kartegraphik!
I have a feeling this brand new book is one many of you will enjoy hearing about because 'folded book' is the most frequently searched term here at All Things Paper! Craft author and designer Clare Youngs created 35 how-to projects, all made from discarded books, that look fun and easy enough to complete in an evening for her latest title Folded Book Art.
Actually, many more ideas than folding are included...there's a bit of simple paper rolling as shown via the heart-shaped cover art. You'll also learn to create dimensional scenarios, as well as turn book pages into cards, birds and a lampshade. Each project is explained step-by-step.
This shaggy, fringed paper dog is one of my favorites. So cute!
And these paper cut ferns and 3D mushrooms are lovely, as is the book's photography
More paper rolling, but a different variety... a mermaid frolics in clever curved page waves.
