Marbled Paper from Mulberry Paper and More
Are you as entranced as I am by decorative papers that are made all over the world? Jennifer and Rick Vaughan of Mulberry Paper Design and More stock an incredible array of mulberry, washi, lokta, marbled, Indian, origami, Italian Renaissance print paper, vellum, lace and iridescent paper, and Japanese wrapping paper. They even have a selection of stylish kitchen papers, table runners and placemats, including erasable chalkboard paper.
Page through the store's many options and I practically guarantee your fingers will be itching to try new projects. That's what happened to me when Jennifer kindly sent me a Collage Pack recently.
It contains so many unusual papers in gorgeous colors (above and below photos)... even amazing ones made of cork and bark. The wheels started turning immediately...
...and along with new ideas, I plan to revisit my Himmeli Pendant Tutorial to work with some of the spring-like papers.
Mulberry Paper Design and More is located in Colorado. Here's Jennifer with her trusty professional paper cutter in the warehouse where she personally readies orders for shipment. She and Rick offer a range of paper sizes; customers may order just one sheet of any variety, a special feature of their site.
In addition to Mulberry Paper Design and More, the Vaughans own The Origami Paper Shop. The latter is unique in that it stocks Nepalese Lokta packs and single color packs of Japanese Chiyogami. They are proud of their specialty products and excellent customer service.
Jennifer told me she loves working with paper and occasionally finds time to do projects herself. The family has a fun interest in seahorses that led her to create this wax resist batik watercolor.
Here are additional creative ways customers have used the papers.

And now the giveaway details! Mulberry Paper and More will be sending a popular Marbled Momi Mulberry Paper Pack in pastel colors to two U.S. residents. The package contains twelve 8.5.x 11 inch sheets in three colorways - enjoy blue, green, yellow, orange, pink, purple and silver color hues.
These exceptional kozo papers from Thailand are hand-marbled with metallic highlights and softly crumpled so each sheet feels like fabric and is truly unique. Wall hangings, lamp shades and book bindings are just a few uses Jennifer suggests.
