CardMaker Magazine + Card Giveaway!
Now that the holidays are over, it's practically time to move on to spring, isn't it? (correct answer is yes!) This card makes me think of warm sun on my back while working in the garden... ahhhhh
It's a design I created for the January Quill It Easy feature in CardMaker Magazine. V-shaped bits of rick rack are turned into little chatting chicks. Quilled flowers, greenery, and penciled tufts of grass complete the scene.
What better way to start the new year than with a giveaway?! I have a brand new copy of this issue to send to a lucky reader anywhere in the world. I'll include the card too... maybe you'd like to send it on to a friend, spreading the love of chick-chat!
To enter, just leave a comment. For extra chances to win, mention this link/giveaway on Facebook, Twitter, and/or your own blog. Contest ends at the end of Thursday the 6th, and the winner will be announced the next day. If you don't have a blog, please include your email address within your comment so I'll have a way to contact you.
Note to email subscribers: Please don't reply to the email with your comment. You'll need to click on the underlined title and leave your comment at the actual blog post.
CardMaker is the only American magazine that features quilling in every issue, and always has tutorials on a nice variety of techniques. I'm sure you'll enjoy it, so good luck!
