Quilled Wedding Invitation
This is an invitation I was asked to quill as a gift for a couple whose wedding took place a year ago in July... a thoughtful and appropriate way to mark the occasion because paper is the traditional first anniversary gift.
I chose to do the quilling in white on black mat board to reflect the invitation's dramatic black on white floral pattern.
A brushed silver frame complemented the invitation. Because of its rounded sides, there was just the right amount of space under the glass to accommodate the 1/8" quilling paper.
